Mumbai, Sep 27: Zomato co-founder and Chief People Officer (CPO) Akriti Chopra has resigned from her position, effective September 27, 2024.
The company informed about her resignation in an exchange filing.
"Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, we would like to inform that Ms. Akriti Chopra, CoFounder & Chief People Officer designated as Senior Management Personnel (“SMP”), has tendered her resignation w.e.f. September 27, 2024," the company wrote.
According to Zomato, Akriti Chopra resigned to pursue other interests outside the company.
Akriti Chopra, the Chartered Accountant, joined Zomato in November 2011, starting as a Senior Manager of Finance & Operations. She later served as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
Akriti became the Co-founder and Chief People Officer (CPO) in June 2021.
