Bhubaneswar, June 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar today to participate in a public program at Janata Maidan in the city, marking the completion of one year of BJP government in the state.
As per the schedule, PM Modi will hold a ‘road show’ from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) to Janata Maidan.
Here is the detailed schedule of PM Modi’s visit:
- 3:40 PM: Will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, and receive a warm ceremonial welcome.
- 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM: Will take part in a roadshow from the airport to Janata Maidan, with colorful Odia folk music and dance along the route.
- 4:15 PM – 5:30 PM: Will attend a public event at Janata Maidan where he will unveil Odisha’s Vision Document 2036, inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 18,600 crore, honour five ‘Lakhpati Didis’, and distribute Ayushman Bharat Health Cards to five senior citizens.
- 5:50 PM: Will leave Bhubaneswar Airport for New Delhi.
Along with celebrating the first anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha, the purpose of PM Modi’s visit is to launch the state’s ‘Vision Document 2036’, which is a long-term plan for Odisha’s growth.
A huge crowd is expected during PM Modi’s visit, with over 1 lakh people likely to attend the event at Janata Maidan.
Earlier, Commissionerate Police issued a detailed traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety during PM Modi’s visit.
