Puri, June 30: The 1st Adapa Mandap Mahaprasad was prepared exclusively from organic rice on Monday in the Puri Gundicha Temple today.
The newly cooked Mahaprasad was offered to deities and later served to devotees near the Adapa Mandap in the afternoon.
According to reports, at least 80 quintals of organic rice were used today to prepare the Adapa Mandap Mahaprasad for the deities, with an additional 21 quintals cooked specifically for at least 40,000 devotees.
Worth mentioning, the provision of Anna Mahaprasad for Lord Jagannath and his siblings, were stopped from the Snana Purnima, the Grand Bath of the deities.However, it was resumed today as Adapa Mahaprasad.
