Youth ends life after making Facebook live in Puri

Puri, Oct 13: A youth of Gop area under Odisha’s Puri district allegedly ended life by hanging himself in his shop while live streaming the incident on social media late Thursday night.

The youth was identified as Sujit Sinha, a chemist of Bantaligan village of Gop. Sujit had a shop in Nagpur bazar near his village

Though the exact reason for his extreme step is yet to be known, it is suspected that he was stressed over a family dispute.

The family members of the deceased informed police after watching facebook live. However, Sujit was already dead by the time police arrived at the spot. Police have seized a suicide note and started investigation into the incident.
