Now, the three majestic chariots are parked before the Adapa Mandap where tens of thousands of devotees have their darshans on the chariots.
Earlier on Friday, the chariot of Lord Balabhadra- the Taladhwaja, led the procession, followed by the chariot of Goddess Subhadra- the Darpadalana, for the Shree Gundicha Temple that’s the cradle land of the deities. However, the chariot of Lord Jagannath, Nandighosha was stalled a few meters away from the Shree Jagannath Temple, due to inordinate delay in the basic rituals. It’s why; the chariot pulling was rescheduled on Saturday by the Shree Jagannath Temple Admin in consultation with the Shreemandir Managing Committee.
Noteworthy, on Sunday the Trinity along with the Lord Sudarshan will be escorted to the sanctum of the Gundicha Temple called the Adapa Mandapa. Here some scheduled rituals will be performed following which visitors will be allowed for mass Darshan.
