Puri, March 7: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the fourth installment of the scheme will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible women. A special program will be held in Talabania ground, Puri, where Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will personally participate and oversee the transfer of ₹5,000 to each beneficiary.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, out of 1.25 crore applicants, around 1.02 crore beneficiaries will receive the fourth installment. Over ₹5,000 crore will be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

At the event in Puri, 2.13 lakh new beneficiaries will receive funds, while 36,385 applicants listed on the grievance portal will also benefit. Individuals turning 21 in April are eligible to apply, and those who have already crossed 21 will receive the second instalment.

The Subhadra Yojana, launched in Odisha on September 17 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has already disbursed the first three instalments, totaling ₹15,000 per beneficiary.
