Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: President Droupadi Murmu commenced her three-day official visit to Odisha on Monday via an Air Force special helicopter.
Upon arrival in Baripada, she proceeded to the Circuit House.
Later in the day, the President is scheduled to participate in a conference and literary festival organized by the Santali Writers’ Association at Sahid Smruti Bhawan in Baripada town. Additionally, she will inaugurate the Ekalavya model residential school in Kuliana of Mayurbhanj.
On the second day, President Murmu is set to preside over a program launching a skill development center in Khililpur, Safarghar, followed by a visit to SLS School. Subsequently, she will inaugurate the upgraded Rairangpur Sub Divisional Post Office.
The Head of State will then embark on a train journey to Rairangpur and proceed to Burla in Sambalpur at 1.20 pm on November 21, where she will inaugurate three express trains, traveling from Badampahad to Rairangpur by train.
On November 22, the President will participate in a program at Prajapita Brahma Kumari’s Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. Her departure from Jharsuguda Airport to Delhi is scheduled for the morning of November 22.
