Online porn watching costs Rs 35,000 to Odisha engineering college student

Bhubaneswar, Mar 19: A private engineering college student in Odisha has lost Rs 35,000 in an attempt to watch porn registering in an unknown app. The youth has been identified as Sumit Singh who hails from Jahrkhand and is pursuing his B.Tech in a Private engineering college in Bhubaneswar. According to Sumit, he followed instructions of an unknown app that popped up while he was searching porn videos online using his smartphone. Accordingly, he paid Rs 499 from his phone-pay account towards subscription of the site. However, within few minutes he got a message that an amount of Rs 35,000 was debited from his account. Subsequently, Sumit informed it to the cyber help-desk of Bhubaneswar with all details regarding the fraud. However, no complaint has been lodged so far in this connection , said a cyber help-desk official.
