Bhubaneswar, May 12: In a pivotal shift in rail infrastructure, Bhubaneswar New Railway Station (BBSN) in Odisha will now be the regular starting point for three major express trains.

According to the East Coast Railway (ECoR), Konark Express (Mumbai route), Visakha Express (Secunderabad route), and Visakhapatnam Intercity Express will now start and end their journeys at Bhubaneswar New Railway Station (BBSN).
The express trains are:
- Bhubaneswar–CSMT Mumbai–Bhubaneswar Konark Express (11020/11019)
The Mumbai-bound train (11019) will end its journey at BBSN from May 11. It will first reach Bhubaneswar Main Station at 11:55 PM, stop for 2 minutes at Mancheswar, and then go to BBSN.
The return train (11020) will leave from BBSN at 2:40 PM starting May 12, with stops at Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar Main Station on its way to Mumbai.
- Bhubaneswar–Secunderabad–Bhubaneswar Visakha Express (17015/17016)
The Secunderabad-bound train (17016) will end its journey at BBSN from May 11, after leaving the Main Station at 4:00 PM.
The Bhubaneswar to Secunderabad train (17015) will start from BBSN at 8:00 AM from May 12.
- Bhubaneswar–Visakhapatnam–Bhubaneswar Intercity Express (22819/22820)
The Visakhapatnam-bound train (22820) will end its journey at BBSN from May 12. It will leave the Main Station at 12:15 AM.
The return train (22819) will leave from BBSN at 7:15 AM.
All these trains will stop for 20 minutes at the Main Station and 2 minutes at Mancheswar to make it easier for passengers to transfer.
