Bhubaneswar, May 3: Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday declared an ex-gratia worth Rs 5 lakh to each, for the three deceased families who were crushed to death under concrete slabs at a construction site in the Cuttack City.
Grieveing the tragic incident where three construction workers including an Engineer died and two more sustained critical injuries the CM said, an investigation by the R&B authorities has been ordered into the incident.
An ex-gratia worth Rs 5,00,000 to each is granted for the deceased’s family whereas free and adequate treatment is assured to the injured ones, the CM added.
Worth mentioning, the mishap took place at Khannagar in Cuttack today where the L&T Construction was executing the Ring Road Project over the Kathajodi River.
