Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, is set to release the schedule for the Plus II examinations today. The exams are expected to commence in February 2025, with more than 4 lakh students, including both regular and ex-regular candidates, registered to appear.

The CHSE is finalizing the timetable, and it will soon be available to the public. A committee meeting is scheduled for today to approve the final version of the exam schedule. Once released, students can check the full exam dates on the official CHSE website.

According to CHSE controller of exams, Prasanta Kumar Parida, a total of 3,98,582 students have completed the form fill-up for the Plus II exams. This includes 2,54,326 students in the arts stream, 24,368 in commerce, 1,14,001 in science, and 5,887 in the vocational education stream.

The exams are expected to start after mid-February next year. Additionally, the CHSE has implemented new guidelines, requiring all Class XII students to clear their internal assessments and project exams to qualify for the final examinations. The 20-mark internal assessment and 10-mark project examination will take place between December 22 and 31. Students who miss these exams will get a second chance to appear from January 10 to 15.

Practical exams for the Plus II candidates are scheduled from January 2 to 15 next year. Students are encouraged to stay updated and regularly visit the official website for further announcements.
