Bhubaneswar, July 12: Maintaining that youth empowerment is the top priority of Narendra Modi Government at the Centre, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday distributed appointment letters to as many as 204 newly appointed youth in various Government departments and organisations here as part of the 16th National Rozgar Mela, an employment driver initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I am delighted to participate in the 16th ‘National Rozgar Mela’ and distribute appointment letters to 204 newly appointed young men and women in various departments of the Government of India. The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the commitment of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give the highest priority to job creation,” said Pradhan.
The Minister said, “It is a matter of joy that more than 10 lakh appointment letters have been provided so far under the Rozgar Mela, across the country, including Odisha.”
“India is a country of youth power. Empowering them is the top priority of the Modi government. In this context, providing suitable opportunities for youth empowerment and their participation in national development process is the main objective of this Rozgar Mela,” added the Union Minister.
Maintaining that the landscape of India has changed in various fields such as technology, innovation, and start-ups, Minister Pradhan said, “Today, India has emerged as the world's fourth largest economy. Due to the successful policies and welfare schemes of the Modi government, approximately 25 crore people in the country and about 1 crore people in Odisha have been lifted above the poverty line and have joined the path of development. Digital financial transactions and capital investment have increased in the country.”
