Bhubaneswar, Apr 1: As many as eight places across Odisha recorded a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and above till 11.30 am today.
While three places in the state recorded temperatures about 37 degree Celsius, the day temperature at five other places was above 35°C.
As per reports, Balasore was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius followed by Chandbali and Jharsuguda at 37.2 degrees Celsius.
While the capital city Bhubaneswar recorded a temperature of 36.6 degree Celsius, 36 degree Celsius temperature was recorded in Hirakud.
The regional Meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar released a data revealing the temperature recorded at various places till 11:30 am.
