Bhubaneswar, April 30: A woman had to wait for over an hour here at Jagamara Square to board Mo Bus for Master Canteen in scorching heat at around 1 pm on Monday.
"I have waited here for over an hour to board Master Canteen-bound Mo Bus. It is unbearable to stand here in the open due to unavailability of bus stand," said the woman.
It is not the plight of a single commuter. Hundreds of passengers, who depend on the premier public transport service daily, brave the unbearable heat to ride Mo Bus.
Most of the office goers and college students depend on the public transport facility. However, due to unavailability of bus stands, they stand in the open during peak hours of the prevailing heatwave conditions.
There is no bus stand at crowded places like Ravi Talkies road, Unit - I Market road, Ram Mandir Square, Jagamara Square and many to name.
"I am regularly travelling to my work place from Jagamara and have to wait in open due to unavailability of bus stand,” alleged a commuter, Sonali Das.
Unavailability of bus stand is not the lonely problem commuters face, the monthly pass is not working on the Mo Bus App properly following which commuters have to give price for ticket having the pass, she added.
