Khordha, Nov 14: In a tragic incident, a woman allegedly ended her life shortly after her husband died in an accident in Khordha.

The incident was reported from Benagadiapatna village under Bolgarh police limits here.
The woman died by suicide by hanging. Sources said, Gokul Chandra Sahu of Benagadia under Bolagarh police limits in the district was killed in a road mishap on Diwali evening while he was returning home on a motorcycle as the vehicle collided head-on with another two-wheeler. He was rescued in a critical condition and rushed to a hospital, where he died during treatment.
Unable to bear the trauma of her husband’s death, his wife last night took the extreme step as she hanged herself to death with a rope.
