Cuttack, Nov 14: The body of a 16-year old boy, who was missing since the last few days, was found near the banks of Kathajodi River in Odisha’s Cuttack district today.

The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed by the police.
As per reports, the minor boy, who is a Class 10 student, had gone missing four days back. Thereafter, his family members launched a frantic search and but in vain. After failing to track his whereabouts, they filed a complaint with Madhupatana police. Acting on the complaint, the cops started a search operation and his body was found near the Kathajodi River bank today. On getting the information, the victim’s family members reached the spot and identified him. The exact reason behind the death will be ascertained after postmortem report comes.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
