Veteran actor Raimohan to be cremated at Puri

Bhubaneswar, June 24: The last rites of Raimohan Parida will be cremated at Puri Swargadwar this evening. Parida who has acted in films, theatres, television and jatra allegedly died by suicide in his house Bhubaneswar today. His body has been taken to his residence at Prachi Vihar after post-mortem and he will be cremated at Puri. He has acted in over 90 Odia movies, more than 15 Bengali movies and 40 Odia plays in theatre. He completed his college from Karanjia college and then entered into Utal Sangita Mahavidyalay, Bhubaneswar. Parida began his career as a theatre director and afterwards turned towards acting. He started his career and made his acting debut in 1985. In 1987 he was seen in the movie Sagar, playing a negative character. His filmography includes Ram Laxman, Aasibu Kebe Saji Mo Rani, Nagapanchami, UdandiSita, Tu Thile Mo Dara Kahaku, Rana Bhumi, Mental Toka, Sinha Bahini, Kulanandan, Kandheiaakhire Luha and Tu Thile Mo Dara Kahaku.
