Bhubaneswar, Aug 31: Dr. Aditya Kumar Samal, Chairman of Utkal Hospital met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Maljhi at Lok Seba Bhawan on Thursday. During the meeting, Dr. Samal emphasized Utkal Hospital’s ongoing commitment to offering advanced medical care and its vision for expanding healthcare services across the state.
Dr. Samal discussed potential collaborations with the state government aimed at enhancing medical facilities in rural areas and improving access to healthcare for underserved communities. He outlined plans to expand hospital facilities and advance medical technology, which he believes will strengthen the state's healthcare infrastructure.
Additionally, Dr. Samal proposed a community health initiative focused on maternal and child health, management of non-communicable diseases, and preventive healthcare in Odisha.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of continued medical education for healthcare professionals and ensuring the availability of high-quality equipment. Hospital Director Dr. Shailendra Narayan Panda and Dr. Nityananda Upadhyay were also present at the meeting.
