Rourkela, July 18: Sundargarh Police on Friday initiated an investigation on a lady Ayush Doctor’s suspicious death at her residence.
As the young and healty doctor was recovered dead from her bed with no noticeable reason, the family members suspected something foul and moved to police.
The deceased has been identified as Dr. Salila Panda. She was posted at the Runagaon Primary Health Centre from last 10-12 years.
According to reports, Dr. Panda did not wake up from her bed in the morning, following which her husband rushed her to the Badagaon hospital where she was declared dead.
Acting on the complaint, the police seized the body and launched an investigation.
The post-mortem report will ascertain the precise cause behind the death, said the police.
