Poonch (J&K), May 24: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Poonch on Saturday to console students of Christ School who lost two classmates, 12-year-old twins Zain Ali and Urwa Fatima, in Pakistani shelling earlier this month.

Encouraging the children, he said, "Don't worry, everything will come back to normal. Study hard, play hard, and make a lot of friends." His visit lifted the spirits of the students, who welcomed him with smiles and applause.

Gandhi also met families of the deceased, inspected damaged homes and religious sites, including the Singh Sabha Gurdwara, and promised to raise their concerns at the national level.

This was his second visit to Jammu & Kashmir since the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.
