Jharsuguda, May 10: BJD leader VK Pandian on Friday visited Jharsuguda district to hit the campaign trail for BJD.
During the visit he participated in an Akhshyaya Tritiya celebration among farmers in the Brajrajnagar area.
Sources said, BJD top leadership Pandian reached the Panchagaon villge where he addressed a public meeting following a roadshow for the BJD candidates. Follwing the pary programe he joined an Akhimuthi Anukual celebration with scores of farmers at Bijapali village where he formally began paddy seeding to mark the Akshyaya Tritia, the traditional day dedicated to begin paddy cropping.
