OSSSC re-examination set to begin from October 8 for RI, ARI, and more

Bhubaneswar, Sep 1: Acting on the direction of the Orissa High Court, the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the re-conduct of the Preliminary Examination for various posts under the Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 (IV).

The posts include Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS).

As per the official notification, the exam will be held in a Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) format starting from October 8, 2025, and may continue through the third week of November 2025, covering all districts across Odisha.

The Orissa High Court, on July 30, cancelled the RI and Amin examinations citing irregularities and violations of recruitment rules. The cancellation annulled the entire 2023 recruitment cycle, including both Preliminary and Main exams.

Admit Card & Mock Test:
Candidates can download their Admission Letters by logging into the official OSSSC website at www.osssc.gov.in using their User ID and Password. While downloading the admit card, candidates are also encouraged to take the Mock Test available via a link on the portal.

The Admission Letter will include details such as exam date, venue, shift timing, and exam center. Please note, no hard copies of the admit card will be sent by post.

Normalization Process:
Since the exam will be conducted over multiple days and shifts with different question papers, a normalization process will be applied to ensure fair evaluation. The detailed normalization methodology is available on the OSSSC website.

The Commission reserves the right to reschedule the exam if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

All other terms and conditions from the original advertisement remain unchanged.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the OSSSC website for updates and further notifications.
