Odisha royal family feud: Adrija seeks security from Bolangir police

Bolangir, Aug 12: Adrija Manjari Singh, wife of Arkesh Narayan Singh Deo of the Bolangir royal family has sought security from Bolangir Town police station as she wanted to visit the palace to take her belongings. 

She earlier levelled allegations of dowry torture and domestic violence against her husband and in-laws.

She has also sent a mail to the Bolangir SP quoting that she wants to come to the Bolangir-based Sailashree Palace to take her belongings and she needs security during her visit.

Earlier on May 2023, a case has been registered against her husband, her father-in-law Ananga Udaya Singh Deo, her mother-in-law Bijayalaxmi Devi, her brother-in-law Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo and sister-in-law Meghna Rana under charges of domestic violence, dowry harassment and attempt to murder.

Dehradun police filed an FIR against Arkesh Singh Deo and his family on February 10.

Arkesh’s wife Adrija is the granddaughter of former Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh.
