Delhi, July 21: At a time when the FM College girl’s immolation case wreaked political uproars across Odisha, the delicate matter has been taken up in the Parliament on Monday.
Koraput MP Dr. Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka urged the Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, to move a motion of adjournment in the Monsoon Session held today owing to the FM College girl’s tragic self-immolation.
With an appeal submitted to the Secretary General, Lok Sabha, Ulaka demanded a vivid discussion on the sensitive matter that involved abeted suicide of a meritorious girl who was pursuing her Integrated BEd. Study in the FM Autonomous College, Balasore.
Worth mentioning, the Lok Sabha has acknowledged Ulaka’s submission for consideration.However, the view of Speaker Birla on the matter is yet awaited.
