Bhuabneswar, July 11:  The recent political change in Odisha has brought about a transformation in the state’s government and its visual identity.

The newly formed BJP government led by CM Mohan Charan Majhi has initiated changes in the colour scheme of various government-owned articles.

The LAccMI bus, previously green, is now being repainted in saffron, symbolizing the new government’s approach.

Similarly, the colour of government quarters for collectors has also shifted from green to saffron.

Despite being a heritage building, the Dhenkanal collector’s government quarter underwent the colour change from green to saffron.

Superintendent Engineer Jayant Nayak explained that the higher authority had instructed them to switch to saffron, emphasizing the new government’s priorities.

The BJP, perhaps, aims to change the colour of  government buses, government buildings, and even schools, colleges to saffron, aligning them with the party’s identity.

During the previous BJD government, schools, colleges, government buildings, and even government buses had been painted green.

Odisha’s political landscape has witnessed a remarkable transformation, with the BJP assuming power and introducing changes in government articles’ colours to reflect its identity.

The saffron hue now represents the new era in Odisha’s governance.
