Bhubaneswar, June 12: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday expressed gratitude to the people of Odisha as the BJP government completed two years in office, reaffirming his commitment to public service, good governance, and the state's development.

In a message to the people, Majhi said June 12, 2024, marked the beginning of a new era of governance in Odisha, made possible through the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the trust reposed in the government by the people. He said he had been entrusted with the responsibility of serving the state under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reflecting on his journey from a teacher and grassroots leader to Chief Minister, Majhi said his dedication to serving people has remained unchanged. He described himself as a representative of the common people and said the Chief Minister’s post is not a symbol of power but a platform for public service.

Highlighting the government's achievements over the past two years, the Chief Minister said the administration has focused on service, dedication, and transparent governance. He pointed to progress in rural and urban development, agriculture, industry, education, healthcare, and infrastructure, attributing these accomplishments to the support and cooperation of Odisha’s citizens.

Majhi described the past two years as a journey of service and commitment aimed at building a prosperous and developed Odisha. He said the vision of a stronger and more empowered state is a collective aspiration shared by more than 4.5 crore Odias.

Calling for continued public participation in the state's growth, the Chief Minister urged citizens to work together for Odisha’s progress and welfare. He reiterated that his life remains dedicated to the service of the state and thanked the people for their unwavering trust, support, and affection, describing them as the true force behind Odisha’s development journey.
