Buyers eyeing Apple’s flagship handsets will see higher price tags this season, with Indian retail figures starting at Rs 1,64,900 for the iPhone 18 Pro and Rs 1,79,900 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both premium devices debut in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities. Pre-orders kick off on September 12, with customer deliveries and store availability beginning September 18. This steep pricing tier continues an industry-wide trend toward premium hardware valuations across major tech markets.
Powering the duo is Apple’s new A20 Pro processor paired with the in-house C2 modem. Photography sees a notable mechanical shift through a 48MP Fusion main sensor featuring a physical variable aperture. Built with laser-cut parts thinner than a strand of human hair, the lens adjusts automatically to shifting light levels and grants shooters direct control over focal depth.
Battery Durability and Design Details
Display dimensions remain distinct, measuring 6.3 inches on the Pro and 6.9 inches on the Pro Max. Battery endurance reaches up to 24 hours on a single charge for the standard Pro, expanding to 30 hours on the Max. In video playback benchmarks, the smaller model runs up to 34 hours, while the larger handset clocks 43 hours. Customers can select from Black, Silver, Glacier, and an all-new Burgundy finish.
Indian pricing for the Pro edition climbs through Rs 1,89,900 for 512GB, Rs 2,39,900 for 1TB, and tops out at Rs 3,14,900 for the 2TB model. The Pro Max carries tags of Rs 2,04,900 for 512GB, Rs 2,54,900 for 1TB, and Rs 3,29,900 for the 2TB version. Meanwhile, United States buyers will pay base rates of $1,199 (about Rs 1.06 lakh) for the Pro and $1,299 (about Rs 1.14 lakh) for the Pro Max, alongside installment lease plans.
