A stunning calm prevails over the political firmament as the largest festival of democracy is going to be signed off in another over 24 hours to come.
Records to be made or records to be broken are the customary outcomes of such festivals and the country awaits new dispensations to come while old ones to go.
Nothing is permanent is what such festivals spin off at the end.
What indeed pays is the balancing acts while walking on the ropes hovering all over are the calm of individuals that is the tolerance and the gestures of mutual respect amid such, sometimes, boisterous air that resonates all over.
Regardless of the outcome on June 4, one who persistently maintains an enviably composed posture always remains much heard and focused in the middle of the toxicities of ambitions.
Without getting into the vinegary of politics, it can be said that, one man in Odisha has always epitomized the essence of that quietness and remained a rallying point amid all hullabaloo and deeply in connection with people.
That is the incumbent chief minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. A reality that is above any political yardstick as a person who has been heaped on with praises for his individual traits as an individual more than that of a politician.
He has been enduring rough weather with equal poise as he cherishes accolades as well. He just walks on and on leaving the footprints for the gen-next youths of the state and the country as well.
That, politics is politics which is not a hive for any swarm of beings who fail to realize that value is supreme and not gallantry all the time.
Records or no records the show must go on, is what his attributes reflect. Sixth time or more such feathers fall on his cap and he has had no pursuit to chase. Which he never did and records have it.
Regardless what the outcomes will be there but he has surpassed those limitations and evaluations.
Age catches with anybody, including, we all, but that never is a grain for any derisive take. This is a path we all have to strut through. His suave quality is his strength and his composure is admittedly his forte.
Sixth time of whatever, he has set a parameter already that is above the scales of ‘rajniti’ like a sentinel of times he remains a milestone.
