SAMBHAL (UP), December 1: On Sunday, members of a judicial commission visited the Shahi Jama Masjid and other locations in Sambhal that were impacted by violence following a court-ordered survey of the Mughal-era mosque. The visit was conducted under tight security.
The commission was led by retired Allahabad High Court judge Devendra Kumar Arora, along with retired IPS officer Arvind Kumar Jain. The two members inspected the areas where clashes erupted on November 24, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.
The third member of the panel, former IAS officer Amit Mohan Prasad, was absent from the visit.
