Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: The nine-day Bhubaneswar Baliyatra began from today on the bank of Kuakhai river. It will continue till December 5.
The Baliyatra committee has made elaborate arrangements for the crowd management. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the trade fair. Cultural and entertainment programmes will be held every evening.
People can visit the fair till 10 pm. Over 900 stalls have been opened in ground. Volunteers and police personnel have been engaged for smooth conduct of the fair.
The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the fair. In view of the rising popularity of the trade fair, the organising committee has focused on parking facility along with emergency healthcare, drinking water, temporary toilet for visitors.
