Khordha, June 26: Miniature artist L. Eshwar Rao, known for his intricate and creative artworks, has once again captivated everyone with his latest creation, featuring the Holy Trinity of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra, as well as the Sudarshan, all inside 200 ml bottle.
A resident of Gopinathpur Hatabazar in Jatni town, Khordha district, Rao showcased his remarkable skill and dedication. Each idol, crafted from chalk, stands only 1 inch tall. These miniatures are placed on intricately designed thrones made of stone, measuring 2.5 inches in height and 2 inches in width.
Behind the idols, he has added a 5-inch replica of the chariot, made from papercraft. It took me five days to complete this delicate and detailed work.
Rao shared his warm greetings to all devotees on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra through his artwork. He also encouraged people to choose eco-friendly things for the celebration, emphasizing the importance of preserving the environment.
He also wants to convey a message that those visiting Puri to witness the Rath Yatra should avoid using plastic. Instead, he said, “let us all seek the blessings of the Holy Trinity and return with devotion in our hearts and respect for the environment."
