Puri, Aug 15: The panel constituted to probe Lord Balabhadra’s Pahandi mishap during the Rath Yatra has submitted its report to Chief Adminstrator of the Shri Jagannath Temple.
The three-member committee handed over the report to SJTA’s Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee on Wednesday.
Padhee after acknowledging the report, took to X and wrote, "Action will be initiated agaist the persons and servitors who will be held responsible for the gross negligence in performing the rituals of the deities."
However Dr. Padhee said, decision in this regard will be taken following a discussion in the Managing Committee meeting in this regard.
Worthwhile, the Lord Balabhadra had slipped from the servitor’s grip and fell on the Charamal while the God was being taken off his Rath during the Adapa Mandap Bije rituals.
