Kolkata, April 8: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has declared her assets at Rs 15.37 lakh in her affidavit for the 2026 Assembly elections from Bhabanipur. This marks a slight dip from the Rs 16.72 lakh she had reported in the previous election five years ago.

Banerjee, who also leads the Trinamool Congress, stated that she has no liabilities and is not facing any criminal charges, maintaining the same status as in 2021, as per the affidavit.

The affidavit reveals that her total movable assets amount to Rs 15,37,509.71, reflecting a reduction of approximately Rs 1.3 lakh compared to 2021. As in previous filings, she has not disclosed any immovable property in her name.
