Sambalpur , Oct 22: After getting Rs 1 Clinic all success, VIMSAR doctor Shankar Ramchandani has dedicated a special clinic for the farmers in Sambalpur.
The clinic was inaugurated on Saturday by a farmer where he examined the health conditions of hundreds of farmers at Rs 1 consultation fee.
Doctor Ramachandani , an Assistant Professor of Medicine at VIMSAR now opened a special facility for the farming community, named ‘Jay Kisan Clinic’.
It will operate once a week at the Rs 1 clinic venue. He has reserved two hours from 6 am to 8 am every Wednesday for the farmers, who can avail of the treatment and medicine at the same cost.
The objective of the new clinic is to ensure health care for the farmers at their leisure and at hand.
At the same time the doctor has also kept the option of Telemedicine open wherein a farmer can take consultation at his home over phone. In case any emergency, the doctor himself visit patients at their homes.
While attending farmers at the Jay Kisan Clinic, the doctor requested the farmers to take the privilege of the clinic at their localities.
