Sources said that Puja, enrolled at Nandaraja Girl’s High School, had completed the forms for the 2024 Matric exam, which began on Tuesday. However, she did not receive her admit card as expected. On the exam's first day, the headmaster of Singhpur High School handed her an admit card outside the exam center.

To her utter surprise, all the information except her picture was wrong on the admit card. Puja alleged that she was given an admit card that belonged to Laxmipriya Jena.
