Mumbai, Dec 1: Years after registration of a high-profile pornography racket case involving Shilpa Shetty’s family, the Enforcement Directorate summoned ace businessman Raj Kundra, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband on Sunday .
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Kundra to quiz on the immoral pornography racket case to ascertain its links with money laundering, sources said.
The development came up just days after raids were conducted at multiple locations linked to Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s business.
According to the ED summon, Kundra, has been asked to appear before the agency on Monday at 11 AM.
He will be quizzed by the ED's Mumbai sleuths, read the summon.
Apart from the prime accused Kundra, some others involved in the case were issued summons to depose before the ED, the summons added.
Kundra is now under ED’s scanner to investigate his involvement in money laundering cases relating to the pornography contents
Earlier this week, the central probe agency raided around 15 locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh as part of its investigation, focusing on the distribution of pornographic contents through mobile applications and other modes across the nation and abroad.
