Bhubaneswar, June 30: At a large gathering during the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Special Felicitation Ceremony in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi addressed the topic of opening Lord Jagannath’s ‘Ratna Bhandar’.
CM Majhi stated, “There have been numerous discussions about the opening of the Ratna Bhandar, and many are asking, ‘When will the Ratna Bhandar open?’. I want to assure everyone that the Ratna Bhandar will be opened very soon.”
He elaborated, “We will inventory the jewels and ornaments of Lord Jagannath and his siblings, and assess their value. If any irregularities are discovered, strict action will be taken against those responsible. The government will spare no one.”
During his speech, CM Majhi also addressed irregularities in the mining sector, stating, “Stern action will be taken against those who have looted the State's minerals and taken percentages, thereby weakening our economy.”
Additionally, he emphasized the government's commitment to prioritizing women, farmers, youth, adivasis, dalits, and other backward communities.
