Bhubaneswar, April 8: The Sriram Bijaya Dashami Festival at Dhamnagar NAC is being celebrated with great enthusiasm from April 6 to 8.
A grand Nagar Sankirtan is set for April 8 at 6 PM, featuring 14 vibrant medhas (floats) from Dhamnagar and nearby areas.
Over 30,000 devotees are expected to participate in the spiritual event.
To ensure smooth proceedings, heavy security arrangements have been put in place under the supervision of Eastern Range DIG Dr. Satyajit Naik, the Bhadrak District Magistrate, and SP.
Security includes 15 OSAP/APR platoons, units from RAF, CRPF, and BSF, striking forces, fire tenders, and medical teams. Two Executive Magistrates will oversee the deployment.
Dr. Satyajit Naik urged all devotees to follow guidelines and cooperate with authorities for a peaceful and devotional celebration.
