Bhubaneswar, Dec 31: At least five more positive cases of COVID-19 were detected in Odisha in the past 24 hours.
With these new cases, the active caseload has risen to 18.
All the new infected persons have been kept in isolation at their homes. The situation is under observation in the State and there is no need to panic, said Public Health Director Dr Niranjan Mishra.
He further advised people to remain alert, avoid crowd, and wear mask if required.
