Bhubaneswar, March 8: Amid speculation of possible alliance with the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) ahead of the general and assembly elections, Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal, who returned from New Delhi today, said no discussion was held on alliance with the central leadership.
Samal reiterated that his party will fight alone in both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha.
Commenting on the meetings in Delhi, he said that discussions were held on how the party would form governments in the state and the centre.
Notably, senior BJP leader Jual Oram had said the central leadership would decide on the possible alliance with the BJD.
