Police have launched an intense investigation following recent bomb threats
Multiple prominent locations in Mumbai, including Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan’s residence Jalsa, the Bombay High Court, and the Bombay Stock Exchange, are under heightened security after receiving bomb threats. Court officials received an email warning of imminent attacks at these major sites as well as the Worli Racecourse. Mumbai Police immediately launched an investigation to trace the sender, putting local security agencies on high alert. Recent events have escalated safety concerns for celebrities in the region. This marks the second recent incident involving Bachchan, following an October threat directed at a local school that specifically mentioned the veteran actor. While officials stated he did not receive a direct threat at that time, his subsequent Sunday public appearance featured a protective glass shield. The All Indian Cine Workers Association recently urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the physical safety of film industry members.

Recent Security Scares In Mumbai
Other actors have also faced recent security issues, heightening overall tension within the city. Following an October shooting incident outside Tiger Shroff's vehicle, which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for, actors Tusshar Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana received similar warnings. Law enforcement officers from the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a 30-year-old IT professional from Bengaluru on Wednesday in connection with the threats against Kapoor and Khurrana. Investigators are currently questioning the suspect to better understand his motives. Preliminary findings suggest the individual operated independently, showing no initial ties to the organized criminal syndicate.
