Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: With the Odisha Budget 2026-27 tabled on Friday in the Assembly Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presented the office copy of it to Odisha Governor, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Lok Bhawan.
During the short interaction, the Governor lauded the noble ventures of Odisha government in making a Viksit state with a people-centric governance.
Underlining the provisions of the Budget 2026-27, the Governor said effective implementation of the allocations will help advancing the development of Odisha & welfare of its people.
Following the statutary formality, the Governor wrote on X, “Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, called on me at Lok Bhawan today and presented a copy of the General Budget 2026–27. I conveyed my best wishes to him and his team for the presentation of the Budget and for its effective implementation in further advancing the development of Odisha and the welfare of its people.”
