Islamabad, Mar 30: Ahead of the no-confidence vote, Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not resign. "Prime Minister Imran Khan is a player who fights till the last ball. He will not get resignation," Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet in Urdu. Imran Khan is in a precarious position, with the voting on the no-confidence motion expected on April 3. Khan, the 69-year sportsman turned politician, is facing a sword over his head since the coalition government in Pakistan is at stake as some of the partners are anticipated to leave his hand. Three major allies of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government have decided to join the opposition alliance ahead of the no-confidence vote, according to Pakistan media reports. The ruling PTI got another major shock when one of its key allies Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) quit the ruling coalition and joined ranks with the Opposition.
