Berhampur, June 07: Four youths were on Saturday arrested by Berhampur police for allegedly gang raping two minor sisters in a secluded area.

The accused have been identified as K Shiva (son of a village head in the Golanthara police station area), K Sai, G Gareiya, and N Srinu.

Superintendent of Police Saravana Vivek M said the prime accused, K Shiva, allegedly lured the 14-year-old victim from her home and raped her. 

He then reportedly called the three other accused to the isolated location, where they took turns assaulting her.

Police further stated that the victim’s 11-year-old sister was also gang raped by them at the scene.

Police seized a mobile phone and a two-wheeler believed to have been used in the crime.
