Bhubaneswar, Aug 22: Vigilance sleuths today conducted a simultaneous raid at eight locations in Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar in connection with the Dhenkanal Sadar Ranger
Bibhudananda Mishra on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The searches are being led by seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), one Assistant Commandant, six Inspectors, and six Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff, based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge of Vigilance, Cuttack.
Vigilance officials are conducting simultaneous searches at eight locations, including three residential buildings, a farmhouse, a flat, a paternal house, a relative’s house, an office chamber, and a government quarter, all linked to Mishra in connection with the disproportionate assets case. Here are the details of properties being raided by the Vigilance team:
- A triple-storeyed building over plot No. 316/6034 located at Ratna Bazar, Dhenkanal.
- A double-storeyed building over plot no 316/6540/10638 located at Ratna Bazar, Dhenkanal.
- E C Broiler farm (Mishra Farmhouse) located at Rahangol, Athagarh, Dist-Cuttack.
- Flat No. 201 at Brinda Basera, GGP Colony, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
- Paternal house of Mishra at Birakishorepur, Athagarh in Cuttack.
- A house of his relative located at Dhenkanal
- Office chamber of Mishra located at Dhenkanal.
- Residential Govt Quarter of Sri Mishra located at Dhenkanal.
Searches were still underway, when reports last came in.
