Bhadrak, April 11: In a tragic incident, a Divisional Forest Officer(DFO) in Odisha’s Bhadrak district reportedly collapsed on office table.

The incident took place at the Divisional Forest Office Chandbali on Saturday.

The deceased forest officer has been identified as Soubhagya Kumar Sahu.

According to reports, Sahu passed away in the day while on duty after a sudden seizure at his office.Discovering him unconscious, subordinates rushed him to the Chandbali Hospital for resuscitation. However, he was no more then, declared the attending doctor.

The precise reason behind the sudden demise is yet to be ascertained. However, doctors suspected it a case of heart attack.

On being informed, police sent the body for post-mortem examinations.

Sahu, who was at the verge of retirement hailed from Barunadiha village under Rajkanika block in the Kendrapara district.
