Cuttack, Nov 28: The Cuttack in Cuttack pavilion is pulling crowd showcasing life in Indian village. The pavilion is spread over six-acre land on the lower Baliyatra ground.
It has turned main attraction of the fair demonstrating thatched houses, life in a rural setup, fish farming, goat rearing etc. Besides, the pavilion has a temple, ‘bhagabat tungi’,
Visitors can also have a glimpse of different old household articles. The pavilion has selfie points as well. This apart, around 70 stalls have been set at the pavilion where traditional handmade household articles and home decoration items will be on sale.
A pond has been dug up for fish farming in coordination with the Fisheries department. Similarly, a farm for cow, goat, pig and poultr has been prepared in association with the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services.
Baliyatra has kicked off in Cuttack amid traditional fanfare here on Monday. It will continue till December 4.
