The city has come alive with the ceremonial sounds of the festival trumpet marking the arrival of Goddess Durga. With the Durga Puja set to begin on September 28, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation and committees have been working diligently to ensure smooth festivities, especially during immersion procession on October 3.
In a recent meeting held by the Peace Committee in the eastern part of the city, it was decided that all puja pandals would follow a peaceful and orderly process throughout the festival. The committee urged citizens to participate in the rituals with devotion while maintaining harmony within the city.
