CBI arrests one from Bhubaneswar in NEET-UG paper leak case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended Susanta Samanta (34) from Bhubaneswar for his alleged involvement in the NEET-UG paper leak case.

Bhubaneswar, Aug 6: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended Susanta Samanta (34) from Bhubaneswar for his alleged involvement in the NEET-UG paper leak case. 

Samanta was arrested and presented before a CBI executive magistrate in Patna on Monday. 

The court granted a five-day remand for further investigation. The NEET-UG paper leak was first detected by Patna Police on May 5, leading to a CBI investigation following a recommendation from the Union Education Ministry. 

This arrest brings the total number of individuals in custody to five.
