Patna, April 4: The death toll in the Bihar hooch tragedy has risen to six after one more victim, who had consumed spurious liquor in East Champaran district, succumbed to their injuries. The first fatality was reported on Thursday.

Authorities have arrested at least 12 individuals in connection with the deaths, which occurred in the Turkauliya and Raghunathpur regions of Motihari. District Magistrate Saurabh Jorwal confirmed the developments.
